NZIIU Needs-based Scholarships

Scholarships are reserved for students who:

• We think will be successful on exchange
• We think need financial help.

You can apply at the time of your interview by telling us you would like scholarship help. We will make a simple informal assessment and let you know within a few days. Most awards are from $2000 to $4000 and it is first-in, first-served until the fund is empty. The sooner you apply the more likely it is that we can help you.

Language Perfect Scholarship

In 2011 we will again offer a $4000 scholarship in the Language Perfect Champion­ships. See the Language Perfect website for details. In 2010 the award was made in September. A list is drawn at random from Gold award winners and we will go down the list until we find a student who wants to go and who we think will be successful. Anyone can go but they may not be awarded a scholarship.

Scholarships for Exchanges to Germany

Every year we offer generous scholarships from our German affiliate. They can be taken up in late August, in January or at another agreed time. You apply in the same way as for any other exchange.
